Employed and Supervised by Shelly Aldrich, MFC #48048
I am currently working as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. I majored in Psychology at Brigham Young University and recently received my Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages and distress levels. My clinical experience has allowed me to treat people with a variety of mental health diagnoses and issues; however, I specialize in treating eating disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addiction/relapse prevention, and grief/loss.As I work with clients, I attempt to create an atmosphere of acceptance, safety, and sharing.
Since the client is the expert in his or her own experience, I collaborate with each person to create an individualized treatment plan. I draw heavily from evidence-based interventions and treatments in an effort to find what will work best for each individual in therapy.I look forward to getting to know you, to developing a therapeutic relationship and using our time together in session to discover how to best assist you in moving towards the person you want to become.
